The berries of the black elder plant (Sambucus nigra) have long been used in folk medicine to address cold and flu symptoms. Elderberries contain many bioactive compounds and nutrients, including anthocyanins, flavonols, vitamins A and C, calcium and iron. Notably, anthocyanins, the compound which gives the berries their characteristic dark colour, have been studied for their supportive role in immunity and for their anti-viral effects. They are also well-known antioxidants.

Antioxidants are molecules that protect your body from harmful free radicals. Free radicals, when left unchecked, are the root cause of oxidative damage – similar to the process that takes place when metal becomes rusty, but in your body cells! Black Elder 4:1 Fruit Extract (Sambucus nigra) 450 mg (Equivalent to 1800 mg dried Black Elder fruit powder).

NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS:

Black elderberry extract, Brown rice flour, Magnesium Stearate, Gelatin Capsule

Take 1 capsule two times per day.
